Google owes you money for misusing your android data

Google might be paying out a surprising amount of cash to Android users in the US if you've had an Android device since 2017. A $135 million settlement related to how your cellular data was handled on those devices is now officially accepting claims.

Android users can now file for a piece of the $135 million payout

Eligible Android users can head to the settlement website to file a claim and potentially receive a payout. The process is surprisingly straightforward, with claimants receiving a payment election form where they simply choose how they want to receive their payment, including options like PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, ACH transfer, or a virtual Mastercard.

However, temper your expectations - the maximum payout per person is capped at $100. After deducting legal fees, the actual payouts to millions of Android users are likely to be much smaller. Nevertheless, it's still your money, and filing takes barely any effort.
