European stocks plunge amid iran-us tensions
Global markets plummeted on Thursday as optimism from a temporary ceasefire between Iran and the US quickly faltered, just 24 hours after the breakthrough deal.

Key indices tumble as tensions escalate
Market volatility surged as President Donald Trump's comments dismissing key Iranian demands and Tehran's accusations of Israel violating the fragile truce sent stocks reeling. The Euro Stoxx 50 fell 0.61% to 5,877, while Germany's Dax led the decline, dropping 0.83%.
France's CAC 40 slipped 0.51%, while the UK's FTSE 100 and Italy's MIB showed greater resilience, rising 0.04% and 0.01%, respectively. Spain's Ibex 35 fell 0.20%, after a strong gain the previous day that propelled it above 18,000.
As the US trading session loomed, futures pointed to a negative open, with the Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq expected to drop 0.29%, 0.27% and 0.27%, respectively.
