The 25-year partnership signed last January gives China a 51-percent stake in Iranian downlink stations—effectively letting Xi’s engineers throttle the signal whenever the price of crude spikes. For the ayatollahs, sovereignty now ends at the ionosphere.
Bottom line: the next salvo will hit within a metre of where Iran wants it, not where America redraws the map. Iron Dome’s intercept rate, already bruised by mass raids, must climb above 96 percent or Israeli cities will calculate casualties in minutes, not headlines.
