Leaked Galaxy S26 FE images reveal every detail you may want to see

While the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is turning into a major success, Samsung is already at work on its upcoming devices, including the Galaxy S26 FE. Fitting in the mid-tier flagship category, the device has appeared in multiple leaks already, but we’re now getting our best look yet at what appears to be official images.

Galaxy S26 FE appears in newly leaked images

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 FE has appeared in three new images, shared by Android Headlines. The photos show its design and colors in greater detail than before, confirming the slight changes from last year’s Galaxy S25 FE.

With the new photos available, we can safely assume the S26 FE will come in at least three colors. Those appear to be: Blue, Black, and Light Green. While the lightest shade feels like an iteration of the mint Galaxy Z Flip 8, the blue model closely resembles the Navy S25 FE. The most likely name for the black model is Graphite, which has been among the available colors for many Samsung phones in recent years.

Slight design changes

These images also confirm that Samsung doesn’t plan to take any chances with the design of the new phone. Unlike last year’s model, the new one won’t have the prominent rings surrounding each of the cameras on the back. Instead, Samsung is making the phone look like the rest of the Galaxy S26 series by putting the three sensors on a single camera island. That’s also reminiscent of devices like the Galaxy A56 and the newer Galaxy A57, following the company’s apparent unification of the camera bump design across its lineup.

Samsung’s approach to the design of its overall lineup is very different from what its main competitors are doing. Apple, for example, has radically different ideas for each class of devices. The top-tier iPhone 17 Pro models come with the camera plateau, the vanilla iPhone 17 gets a smaller camera bump, and the iPhone 17e has a singular camera ring on its back. Google treats things in its own way, as well. While the flagship Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro models use practically the same design, the lower-tier Pixel 10a looks completely different and doesn’t have a camera bump at all.

Minor updates and higher prices, probably

Most of the key details about the Galaxy S26 FE have already been revealed in earlier rumors, and there are almost no surprises. We’re most likely getting last year’s Exynos 2500 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. Sadly, the camera is likely to remain completely unchanged.

One little mystery is the battery capacity, which remains unclear, but it will fall somewhere around 5,000 mAh. However, it’s all but certain that there will be 45W wired charging support, which will be better than what the vanilla Galaxy S26 offers.

You can count on getting a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits peak brightness. While a recent Galaxy S26 FE firmware leak included hints of One UI 5.1, the exact release date for the software remains unknown.
