Why 2 nm matters more than marketing

Shrink the transistor, grow the headroom. Moving from 3 nm to 2 nm isn’t a slide-deck boast; it’s roughly 15 % more speed at iso-power or 25 % less juice at iso-performance, according to TSMC’s own briefings.
