Strategic location signals ambitious growth plans

The firm, boasting over 25 million customers across Western Europe – including 6 million in Spain – will occupy a meticulously restored 2,417-square-meter space within a late-19th-century building, a testament to Parisian architectural heritage. Originally designed by architect Albert Waldwein, the building’s steel structure and ornate façade were painstakingly preserved during a 2025 renovation, retaining its historical significance – a fact recognized by the City of Paris.

This isn’t merely an office move; it’s a calculated play to bolster Revolut’s burgeoning footprint in key European markets. France, with over seven million users, Spain (six million), Italy (4.5 million), Germany (three million), Ireland (three million), and Portugal (two million) are now squarely in Revolut’s sights. The new facility, housed in the Sentier neighborhood – a burgeoning tech incubator – will facilitate collaboration and employee wellbeing, fueling continued expansion.

Revolut intends to formally establish its presence on the ground floor, a visible declaration of intent to its French clientele. Crucially, the company is actively pursuing a French banking license, aiming to onboard over 400 new professionals and ultimately reach a workforce of 1,500 experts within a short timeframe. This entire initiative is supported by a €1 billion regional investment plan, spearheaded by CEO Béatrice Cossa-Dumurgier, who emphasized the location’s “reflection of Revolut’s identity in the region – a nexus bridging Paris’s financial legacy with Sentier’s technological dynamism.”

“Our new headquarters will be the epicenter where our teams will design the future of banking in Europe,” Cossa-Dumurgier stated. Revolut insists that Western Europe remains its fastest-growing region, possessing significant untapped potential. This strategic relocation signifies more than just a physical address; it’s a powerful statement about Revolut’s long-term commitment to the European market and its intent to become a dominant force in the continent’s financial landscape. The firm’s commitment isn’t just talk; it’s backed by concrete investment and a rapidly growing user base – a tangible indicator of its trajectory.
