Samsung drops $50 on galaxy buds 4 pro – but there’s a catch
The usual siren song of Woot’s daily deals just got a little louder, and a little cheaper. A $50 discount is currently available on the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, bringing them down to a surprisingly accessible $199.99 – a significant drop from their usual $249.99 price tag.
Don’t get too excited: international model only
However, before you rush to add these premium earbuds to your cart, a crucial detail needs addressing: this offer is exclusively for the international version. This means you’re looking at a product functionally identical to the US model, but without the active warranty protection we’re accustomed to. Woot is mitigating this with a 90-day limited guarantee, a small consolation, but one to consider.
Sound that cuts through the noise
Let’s be clear – the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro deliver a genuinely impressive audio experience straight out of the box. They’re particularly well-suited for those who crave a deep, punchy bass response, able to truly imbue acoustic tracks with a palpable presence. While the intense low-end might occasionally feel overwhelming on faster, heavier genres – a simple adjustment via the Galaxy Wearable app easily tailors the sound to your preference.
Anc performance – a solid baseline
Beyond the audio quality, the active noise cancellation (ANC) on these earbuds is commendable. They effectively suppress the low-frequency rumble of engines and urban traffic, creating a noticeably quieter listening environment. While higher-frequency noises like background chatter might still bleed through, especially with a less-than-perfect fit, the overall performance is robust and reliable.
Battery life that keeps up
Battery performance is equally impressive. You’re looking at up to six hours of playback with ANC enabled, and a respectable seven hours without. The charging case provides an additional 26 hours of juice – extending to 30 hours without ANC – ensuring you’re covered for extended travel or long listening sessions. A quick 10-minute charge in the case will even provide an extra hour of playback, a genuinely useful feature for those moments when you’re running short on time. The international model’s lack of US warranty shouldn’t deter serious audiophiles, particularly given Woot's limited protection.
The bottom line: a smart grab
Ultimately, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro remain a compelling choice for Samsung users seeking top-tier wireless earbuds. Their exceptional sound quality, bolstered by effective ANC and long-lasting battery life, make them a worthwhile investment. Don't delay; this $50 discount won’t last forever.
