Analyst Commentary
"August has begun with considerable force, but there is still much of the month ahead, and August is typically a volatile month for stocks," noted Clark Bellin, President and Director of Investments at Bellwether Wealth, to AP. Strong corporate earnings have partially alleviated Wall Street’s Concerns about market overvaluation, with approximately 85% of S&P 500 companies having reported results and overall earnings growth appearing robust since 2021.
